Joseph R. DeGiulio
March 2, 1940 – March 15, 2023

Joseph R. DeGiulio, age 83, passed away March 15, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Arlene M. (Carulo) DeGiulio; they were happily married for 59 years.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph and Assunta (Costentino) DeGiulio.
He was a member of the Air National Guard Reserves. Joseph was a teacher for the West Warwick School Department as well as an employee at ACE(NFI).
He will always be remembered by his family and friends for his sense of humor, his inquisitive mind, and his great love for food. He was a caring, loving, and friendly man who was loved by everyone who knew him. He will truly be missed.
He was the loving father of Gregory J. DeGiulio (Sherry Lombardi) and the late Jeffrey J. DeGiulio; cherished brother of Sophie Hallene; and dear cousin of Jerry Caito, Thomas Caito, and the late Philip Caito.
His visitation will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2023 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave, Providence. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.
