Joseph DeRuvo

He was the beloved husband of the Late Marilyn (Zwirn) DeRuvo and a loving father to his daughter, Karen DeRuvo and his son Sirrah Lore. He was the proud Grandfather of Lauren Macchio, Aaron DeRuvo, Ariel DeRuvo and Sophia DeRuvo. He also leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his four brothers and one sister.

Joseph was a proud veteran, who served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He carried that sense of service and pride throughout his life.

An avid fly fisherman, Joseph found great joy in the outdoors, camping and fishing. He tied his own flies and spent many days fishing at Montauk Point, Long Island and throughout the East Coast. His love of fishing was more than a pastime - it was a source of peace, adventure and countless memories.

Joseph will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services and burial will be private.
