Joe was an avid Lego enthusiast and loved nothing more than to build Legos with his grandson, Ezra. He loved to cook and made the holidays special with his newfound recipes that he loved to share with his family. As well as keeping up traditions, such as making mom’s Irish Bread for St. Patrick’s Day and pumpkin and cranberry breads for Thanksgiving and Christmas. He was a caregiver to his mother in the last year of her life. Even though she could not be easy and they would fight, Joe had a tremendous way of keeping his sense of humor to get through. He was extremely proud of his son, Nicholas, and loved spending time watching movies and playing video games together. He loved to travel, especially with his best friend, Ricky. Joe was smart, quiet and kind and he will be dearly missed.
He was the devoted father of Nicholas J. Faccenda; cherished grandfather of Ezra; and loving brother of Bronagh Laliberte and her husband Philip; and lifelong best friend of Ricky Stanley and his wife Heather.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at a time to be announced, in Saint Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to American Heart Association, www.heart.org, in Joe’s memory would be appreciated.
