Joseph Follett

Joseph S. Follett, 72, of Providence, RI, passed away on January 16, 2023. Born in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late Stanislaus George and Mary Elizabeth (Morey) Follett. Joseph was a Special Education Teacher in the Boston Public Schools for 30 years. In 1995, with his sons, he founded Sports in Motion Photography, skillfully capturing action photos throughout New England. He is survived by his son, Andrew Follett (Elizabeth), his daughter, Mary Moylan (Joseph) former wife, Patricia (Shepard) Follett, grandchildren, Hannah, Olivia, and Aine, brothers, William Follett (Nohra), and John Follett (Leah), sisters, Mary M. Morphew (Peter), Elizabeth Reidel (David), and Patricia Lynch (David) and daughter-in-law, Megan Follett. His beloved son, Christopher Follett, predeceased Joseph. Visitation Tuesday morning, January 24th, 8 – 10 am in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith St., Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. James Church, 33 Division St., Manville. Burial in St. James Cemetery, Manville.
