He was the son of the late Francesco and Concetta (Mastandrea) Rossi; husband of the late Nicolina M. (Calise) Rossi; father of Joseph S. Rossi and his wife Susan of Wakefield, Robert A. Rossi and his wife Karen of Barrington, Linda M. DelPrete and her husband Daniel of Warwick; grandfather of Kimberly Marques and Christopher Rossi; great-grandfather of Abigail Nicolina Marques; brother of the late Arthur and Frank Rossi, and Florence D’Amore.
Mr. Rossi was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII and had retired from Keyes Associates as a draftsman. He was also a lifelong and loyal communicant of Holy Ghost Church.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, 4-7 p.m. with funeral services on Thursday at 9 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Holy Ghost Church, 1 Knight Street, Providence, followed by burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Ghost Church.
