Joseph Francis Trainor, Jr

Joseph F. Trainor, Jr., 87, of Greenville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, March 7, 2018 at Hope Hospice & Palliative Care of RI. He was the husband of the late K. Gail (Lamoray) Trainor.Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Joseph F. Trainor, Sr. and Helen A. (Loughran) Trainor.Joe was a graduate of Providence College, class of 1956.He worked as a sales manager at Bilsom International for twenty years, before retiring in 2002. Joe loved boating and was a member of the Elks Lodge # 2359 Smithfield.Mr. Trainor is survived by his son, Joseph F. Trainor, III, of Greenville and a sister, Rosemary Provencher, of North Carolina.His funeral with visitation will begin on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 8:45 am, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am, in Saint Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Interment will be in Saint Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
