SwanseaJosephine E. (williams) McCrae, 91, of Swansea Mall Drive, died last Thursday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Alexander F. McCrae, Sr. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Francis J. and Elizabeth (Curtin) Williams, she lived in the Swansea area for over fifty years. Mrs. McCrae was a Nurses Assistant at the Miriam Hospital for twenty years, and Rhode Island Hospital for ten years, before retiring. Josephine was a member of the Swansea Seniors, Our Lady of Fatima Seniors, Swansea, and the Ocean Grove Cribbage Club. She leaves a daughter, Geraldine Trudelle; a son, Richard E. McCrae; eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Thomas D. McCrae, Alexander F. McCrae, Jr. and Joan McCrae; sister of the late Henry, George, Francis and Thomas Williams, Anna Hall and Mary Smith; and loving grandmother of the late Monica Trudelle.
