Judith L. (Martineau) Carchia, 71, passed away March 24, 2016. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late William and Grace (Waters) Martineau. She was the loving mother of Joseph A. “Tony” Taccone of Newport; the devoted sister of Charles Martineau and his wife Leslie, Peter Martineau and the late William Martineau, Nancy Sullivan, James Martineau and Jacqueline Martineau. She was also the aunt of several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
