

Julie E. (Williams) Middleton, 96, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late George J. Middleton, with whom she shared many years of love, companionship, and treasured memories.
Born in Providence, Julie was a daughter of the late William T. Williams Sr. and Mary (O'Shea) Williams. A woman of kindness, strength, and quiet grace, she dedicated her life to her family and found her greatest joy in their love and happiness. Her warmth, gentle spirit, and unwavering devotion will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Julie leaves behind her loving children, Michael Shannon and Christine Middleton. She was the cherished grandmother of Brittni Eastwood, Carissa Saccoccio, and Tyler Nunes, and the proud great-grandmother of Emily Burns and Ellie Schall, who brought immeasurable happiness to her life. She is also survived by her niece, Geraldine Gibbons.
In addition to her husband, Julie was predeceased by her beloved son, Thomas Middleton; her brother, William T. Williams Jr.; and her sisters, Mary Gibbons and Geraldine Cadoret.
Her family will forever cherish the memories of her love, wisdom, faith, and the countless ways she enriched their lives. Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy lives on through the generations she nurtured and loved so dearly.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence, followed by burial in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
Julie will be held close in the hearts of her family and friends, whose lives were forever blessed by her presence. May she rest in God's eternal peace.
