Justa M. Negron, 64, passed away September 17, 2026. Born in Puerto Rico, a daughter of the late Juan Antonio Negron and Carmen (Bunanno) Negron. Beloved mother of Kervin L. Negron, Anthony Brunetti, Kenneth Negron and Felix Bruno.
Grandmother of Felix A. Bruno Junior, Vellah J. Bruno, Avery I. Bruno, Kenny A. Negron, Alexy C. Negron and Ahryauna J. Brunetti.
Sister of Juanita Negron and Angel Soto.
Godmother to Tichelle Fortes, Pamela Lora, Lastarsha Pettiway, Justin Johnson and Crystal Hayman.
Since leaving home at the tender age of 13 Justa sought to live a life that was wholly hers. She worked diligently to raise her four sons.
She attained her associate’s degree in criminology. Entered retirement from her work as bus monitor for the Providence school department to focus on her grandchildren.
Along the way she created a new family from those she encountered. Justa nurtured and cherished her chosen beloved. She leaves behind a family some related by blood, other related by spirit, all united in the memory of her life and love.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday October 8, 2026 from 1pm - 2pm, followed by a service at 2pm in the Pontarelli - Marino Funeral Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A private Inurnment will be in Saint Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
Flowers may be sent to the funeral home for the service.
