McGarry, Kathryn, 92, of Providence, passed away on the 28th of August, 2017. She was born in Providence, daughter of the late Francis and Delia (Smith ) McGarry. She was the sister of the late John J. McGarry, Francis B.McGarry, Raymond McGarry, Leo V. McGarry and Marguerite Bracq.Kathryn was the aunt of Frances DeVito of Cranston, Louis Bracq, Jr. of Warwick. She was the beloved great aunt of Dorine (David) Medeiros of Cranston, Heather L. Hazard of Warwick and Kevin McGarry of Lexington, KY. She will be missedby her great great nieces Shaiann & Savannah Hazard and her cheished great great nephew Prince Medeiros.Kathryn was a graduate of Edgewood Junior College CIF Program, Johnson & Wales Business School, University of Rhode Island and Providence College (Masters).During WW II, she served as a Grey Lady of Veteran's Hospital, Providence Kathryn served 38 years with New EnglandTelephone.Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at 10:00 am in Saint Pius V. Church, Eaton Street Providence. At the family's request there will be a private burial at St. Ann Cemetery Cranston.
