Kenneth R. Waters

Kenneth R. Waters, 65, passed away November 10, 2014 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Raymond and Elizabeth (Allison) Waters. He was the beloved husband of Bernadette I. (Bernier) Waters; devoted father of Kerrie A. Waters and the late Kevin R. Waters; loving grandfather of Abram; and brother of James Waters.

Kenneth graduated Central High school in June 1967, he joined the U.S. Navy in October of 1967 and was honorably discharged in November 1971. He worked for Adams/Brooks Pharmacy from 1973-1994. He had also worked for Yellow Freight as a truck driver from 1994-2007 and was a member of the Teamsters Local 251 for 33 years. Kenneths’ favorite sports teams were the Boston Celtics, New York Yankees, New England Patriots and the Boston Bruins.

Visitation Friday, 4-7 p.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence, followed by burial with military honors in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
