Survived by his loving wife Sue of 36 years, Lee is the epitome of a proud girl dad; living on in the lives and memories of his three daughters Jillian, Kiersten and Kelsi-Mariah, as well as his four granddaughters Brynn and Lyla, and Olivia and Maya. Lee was also a loving son to Richard and Tobey Oresman, brother to Bob, Leslie, Laura, Gary, Lauren and Matthew and father in-law to Matt, Tony and West. Lee is predeceased by his mother and stepfather Sandra and Stanley, and his in-laws, Louis and Marie.
Lee was a devoted father who took pride in raising three strong girls. He took an active role in the lives of his grandchildren and treasured his time as princess security. Their special time was just that ––special. He treasured their adventures and always had a trick up his sleeve.
If you spent more than five minutes with him, you’d learn that he was an avid New England sports fan, no matter the season, no matter the sport. He had very strong values and was well liked by everyone. Lee had incredible patience, and always made time to help others. Not only did he make a great impact on human lives, but he made a habit of rescuing dogs in need. Over the years he has adopted and changed the lives of 10 dogs. He will be terribly missed by his most recent loves, Emma and Zoey.
Lee was born May 6, 1963 to Richard “Dick” Oresman and Sandra Simon. He graduated from Providence Country Day in 1981 and attended Boston University.
Lee was never scared to take on new opportunities and did everything with honesty and integrity. He spent the majority of his career in the automotive industry starting as a financial advisor and ending as an esteemed service director. He had a new found love for real estate and all of its investment opportunities.
Above all, Lee was the rock of his family. He was a giving, caring and selfless soul. He will be missed by family, friends, colleagues, and neighbors.
His visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in the at Pontarelli-Marino Funeral Home, 971 Branch Ave, Providence followed by a service in the funeral home at 7:00 p.m.
