

Leon Samuel Golden, 96, of Warwick, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at West Shore Health Center in Warwick. He was the loving husband of the late Dorothy (Blaivise) Golden and the son of the late Matthew and Ann (Lampert) Golden.
Leon served as an officer in the United States Army for two years. He worked as an auditor for the Federal Department of Transportation in Providence and Boston for many years before retiring. A kind and gentle man, Leon loved spending time with his family and going to the beach. He was also an avid New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox fan. His family will remember his sweet nature and the warmth he brought to their lives.
He is survived by his four children: Mark Golden of California; Kayla Kauffman and her husband, William, of Pennsylvania; Eric Golden and his wife, Dulce Quiroz, of Nevada; and Reba Golden and her husband, Andre Mayer, of Johnston. He also leaves six grandchildren: Alexandria Golden, Brittany Golden, Zachary Kauffman, Morgan Kauffman, Joshua Golden, and Jacob Golden. He was predeceased by his sister, Sandra Finn.
Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 9:15 a.m. at Lincoln Park Cemetery, 1469 Post Road, Warwick. Arrangements are in the care of Sugarman-Sinai Memorial Chapel, Providence.
