Leon Jaime Saldarriaga

Leon J. Saldarriaga, 83, of North Providence, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Our of Fatima Hospital, in North Providence. He was the husband of Maria (Munoz) Saldarriaga. They were married for over 50 years. Born in Colombia, South America, he was a son of the late Justo Pastor and Maria Luisa (Jaramillo) Saldarriaga. He worked as a weaver in the textile industry for many years. Leon loved watching the “Dim” Soccer League and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Besides his wife, he leaves his two sons, Jaime Saldarriaga, and his wife Adriana, of Central Falls and Albeiro Saldarriaga, and his husband, Russell Casalino, of North Providence; two grandchildren, Daniel and Melina; and two great grandchildren, Julian and Isaiah. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to visit with Leon’s family on Saturday, February 21, 2015 from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, with a funeral service beginning at 11:30 am, in the Russell J.
