

She was born in Providence a daughter of the late Rudoph and Lydia (Lafond) Dufresne. Beloved wife of Gary R. Culbertson. Devoted Mom to Michelle Santaniello and her husband John, Michael Brown and his wife Shelley, and Marcey Jo Vickers and her husband Bryan. Cherished Grammy to Marissa Brown, Gabriella Brown, John Santaniello, Jacob Santaniello, Julie Antonino and her husband Micah, Neil Vickers and his wife Kianna, Austin Vickers, Taylor Brown and her husband Joseph. Great Grammy to Zeppelin Vickers, Ramona Vickers and Brody Antonino. Sister of the late Jeanne Dufresne.
Linda was a loving wife and dedicated mother and grammy. Those that she loved she loved fiercely. There wasn’t a day that went by that she wasn’t saying her rosary or lighting her Mary candle for someone. She made friends wherever she went. She was always putting others before herself. She loved vacationing and spending time with family and friends and loved anything peanut butter. Linda lived most her life in North Providence until moving to Johnston with her husband where she found a new community of friends.
During her earlier years she worked at Levin Plating in Pawtucket as an Admin. Office Supervisor until landing her most satisfying position at Herff Jones in Providence as a Sales Executive. She lived a full life and was very fortunate to experience the love of all those around her. She was The Friendship Coordinator and Events Organizer for Parents Without Partners; The Vice President, President and Board Member of North Providence of AARP; On the executive board of FOPA; The Campaign Volunteer for Mayor Charles A. Lombardi; A Pole Supervisor; CCD Teacher and Office Assistant for Saint Anthony’s Church & Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church; A member of Young at Heart Club and a Volunteer for the Mary’s Meal to the Poor.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation and funeral on Wednesday, 9 – 10:30 AM in the Pontarelli-Marino Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM in the Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, 1081 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence.
Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Memorial Veterans' Cemetery, Exeter.
