Born in Providence, Lisa was the beloved daughter of Robert J. Morris and Maria F. Cabral. From an early age, she was deeply loved and nurtured by her parents, and she shared a special, enduring bond with both of them. Their relationship was rooted in unconditional love and remained a constant source of strength, support, and connection throughout every stage of her life.
Above all else, Lisa was a loving and dedicated mother to her son, Andrew Morris. She took immense pride in her family and cherished every moment spent with them. Her love, guidance, and unwavering support will remain a lasting gift to those fortunate enough to have known her. Lisa also had a special place in her heart for her three beloved feline companions “daughters,” Molly, Lulu, and Fluffy who brought her endless comfort, companionship, and joy throughout the years.
In addition to her parents and son, Lisa leaves behind her loving siblings, Christina Furtado and Robert Morris. Christina was much more than a sister to Lisa—she was a second mother, a best friend, and one of the most important people in her life. Their bond was built on unconditional love, trust, and a lifetime of shared memories, and Christina’s constant support and devotion were a source of strength and comfort to Lisa throughout her life. Her brother, Robert, was her rock—someone she could always count on through both life’s joys and its challenges. The bond she shared with both of her siblings was deeply cherished and remained an important part of her life.
She was a cherished aunt to Peter, Gian, Zach, Joey, and Charlotte, and a proud great-aunt to Aurora and Everly. She also leaves many relatives and friends who will forever treasure the memories they shared with her.
Lisa will be remembered for her kind heart, her strength through life’s challenges, and the genuine love she gave so freely. Whether caring for her family, sharing laughter with friends, or adoring Molly, Lulu, and Fluffy, she made those around her feel loved and valued. Though her time with us was far too short, the impact she made on the lives of her family and friends will endure for generations. Her memory will live on in the stories shared, the lessons taught, and the love she leaves behind.
Her visitation will be held Monday, June 15, 2026, from 4:00–7:00 p.m. and Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 9:00-10:00 a.m. in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
May her memory be a blessing and a source of comfort to all who loved her. ❤️
