Loretta T. Maguire

Loretta T. (GIACOBBI) Maguire, 74, of Henderson, NV, formerly of Providence, passed away April 21st at Nathan Adelson Hospice Care, Las Vegas, NV. She was the wife of the late Robert W. Maguire. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Emily (Renzi) Giacobbi.

Mother of two sons: Robert W. Maguire, Jr. and his wife Cathy of Warwick and M. Joseph Maguire of Providence; two daughters, Laura Maguire and her companion Kevin O’Reilly and Maureen Maguire, all of Providence. She was the sister of Shirley Arena of North Providence, Salvatore Giacobbi of Pennsylvania and Anthony Giacobbi of Nevada. She was “Nana” to 5 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.

Loretta was a member and past President of the Smithfield Emblem Club #434 while living in Providence. She had moved to Nevada 16 years ago, where she worked and retired from the Ethel M. Candy Company.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 20th from 3-6 pm followed by a service at 6 p.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Nathan Adelson Hospice Care, 4141 Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
