Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Louis and Carmella (Bucci) Melise; father of Jason E. Melise, Crystal C. Melise and her husband Justin O’Brien, and Ryan A. Melise; grandfather of Jarred and Jeremy Melise, and Stephen and Kylah O’Brien; brother of Josephine Melise-Marfeo, Edward Melise and his wife Denise, and the late Nancy Olivo and Anthony Melise. He also leaves several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation and funeral services will be held Monday, 9-10:30 in the PONTARELLLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. in St. Rocco Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
