Born in Providence, a son of the late John and Ann (Bono) Volante. He was the beloved husband of the late Eleanor (DiNicola) Volante.
Mr. Volante was a plasterer for the former Ralston Plastering Company. He was a US Army veteran, serving during the Korean War.
He was the devoted father of Robert Volante and his wife Kerri; loving grandfather of Giovanni, Cory and Gage; and great-grandfather of Willow and Ava. He was predeceased by his brother, Julio Volante.
A private service with military honors was held at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
