Louise D. Fontaine

Fontaine, Louise D. (Richard), age 90 of Cedar Pond Dr, passed away on May 25, 2011 at RI Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joseph D. Olivier and the late Hector J. Fontaine. Born in Woonsocket she was the daughter of the late Walter D. and Marie R. (Allain) Richard.She had lived in Florida from 1975- 2000 Prior to retirement, Mrs. Fontaine was employed with Landmark Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in both the emergency and the operating rooms, retiring in 1974. Mrs. Fontaine was an avid golfer, dancer and loved to play duplicate bridge. She was a member of D A V A unit 17, having served as commander, Kent County memorial Hospital Auxiliary, AARP West Warwick Chapter 2210, N A R F chapter 0116. Most of all she was a loving and caring person who was devoted to her family. She was the loving mother of Janine D. Petrin and her husband Francis E. Petrin of Cranston, sister of Anita Benzino of FL, grandmother of Justin Petrin and his wife Nichole Petrin. She was also the mother of the late Suzanne Olivier. Sister of the late Raymond Richard , Geroge Richard and Bertha "Becky" Marcoux. Her funeral will be held on WEDNESDAY at 9am from The RUSSELL J. BOYLE & SON Funeral Home 142 Centerville Rd., WARWICK, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Gregory the Great Church, Warwick. Interment will follow in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham, MA. Visitation TUESDAY From 4 to 8 pm.
