

Providence Nalbandian, Louise M. "Lucy", 95, of Cove Avenue, Warwick, and formerly of Douglas Avenue, Providence, died Monday at The Miriam Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Charles "Garabed" Nalbandian. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late David and Mary Miriam (Halgatian) Markarian, she had lived in the Smith Hill section of Providence most of her life, before moving to Warwick nine months ago. Lucy was a seamstress for the Young Brothers Mattress Company for fifty years, retiring in 1980. She was a lifelong communicant of Saint Patrick Church, Providence, and a member of the Unite Here Workers Union of Lincoln. Mrs.Nalbandian leaves a daughter; Mary L. Audet of Warwick, with whom she lived, a son; Al Nalbandian of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, two sisters; Anna Farrell of Cranston, Josephine Imondi of Greenville, a granddaughter; Kathleen Mikaelian and a great-granddaughter Ashley Mikaelian. She was a sister of the late Sarah Arpin, Margaret Artun, Aroxie Pilibosian, Markar and Harry Markarian. The funeral will be held Thursday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Patrick Church, Smith Street, Providence. Burial will be in Saint Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 - 7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Patrick Church, 244 Smith Street, Providence RI 02908 in Lucy's memory will be appreciated.
