She was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter. She made a living as a phlebotomist after her divorce from her first and only husband, Luis Gonzalez. She taught her daughters to cook and love music. She was her daughter’s role model because she always picked herself up from diversity and took care of business, always making sure her daughters were provided for.
She loved music, playing guitar and singing, although she always wanted to learn to play piano and loved the sounds of piano music. She always had music playing in one or more rooms of her house. She also knew the sounds of Guns N Roses and Bon Jovi from hearing her daughters play them constantly.
She liked to put together jigsaw puzzles, color, craft, watch dancing competitions, play the original Animal Crossing game on her Nintendo Game Cube, and watch the women’s gymnastics team compete. She also enjoyed drawing and she did it well, something her grandson does as well. Her favorite actor/comedians were Tom Hanks and Robin Williams, and she enjoyed watching all their movies. Her favorite childhood movie was Alice in Wonderland. One of her favorite TV shows was Heroes, but also enjoyed watching Dark Angel, Ghost Whisperer, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. Although her favorite Disney character was Goofy, she also loved Littlefoot from The Land before Time. She enjoyed going to the beach and driving in falling snowing.
