Lynda Ann Hays

Warwick Lynda Ann (Lewis) Hays, 55, of Warwick, R.I. passed peacefully on March 11, 2012. Born in Warwick, R.I. on November 29, 1956 she was the daughter of John P. Lewis and her late mother Marguerite W. (Martin) Lewis. Besides her father and his wife Jean Lewis, she is survived by her husband G. Alan Hays, her brother John P. Lewis, Jr., and his wife Laura Lewis. She also leaves several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Lynda graduated from Pilgrim High School and received her bachelors degree and MSW at Rhode Island College. She was employed as Director/Administrator of Sunrise House of AIDS Care Ocean State, in Providence. She had previously worked at many nursing homes throughout the state as Director of Administration and Social Work. Besides her many friends, relatives, and associates, she will also be greatly missed by her beloved pets AKA and Wicky. In her spare time Lynda loved sailing the islands and beaches of the Caribbean. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday morning, at 10:00 am, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rt. 117) Warwick.Visiting hours Friday evening 6 - 8 pm.
