MADELINE A. (HEDGES) Grant, 84, passed away October 16, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mildred (Ferris) Hedges. Madeline was the wife of the late James R. Grant Sr.. She was the mother of James R. Jr., Darrell W., Bryan J., Kevin W. and Wanda L. Grant; brother of Lloyd, Thurman, Warren and the late Donald and Arthur Hedges; sister-in-law of Velma and Betty Hedges; grandmother of 12 and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation and funeral services will be held Tuesday, 9-10 a.m. followed by a service at 10 a.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Interment will follow in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. pontarellimarinofunerals.com.
