Manuel "Manny" Dorego Jr.

Manny was a sales representative for the former Barbato Co. and later the J. Polep Co.. He enjoyed custom car shows, in which he won many awards for his 1967 Dodge Coronet 500.

He was the father of Manuel; brother of Rosemary, Ann Marie and Harold Dorego, Carol Petracca and the late Michael and Joseph Dorego; uncle of Anthony Petracca and the late Carol Ann and Joseph Petracca, Jr.; great uncle to Caitlyn and Courtney Vallante. He also leaves his caregiver Luis M. Vieira, his dear friend John Pelligrino and his cat Miss Bella.

His funeral will be held Friday at 8:00 am from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in St. Rocco’s Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. VISITATION THURSDAY 4-7PM.
