Margaret Femia

Margaret Femia, age 97, of Providence, Rhode Island passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late James P. Femia, Sr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Rosina (Principe) Virgilio. Margaret was a wonderful seamstress and loved word search puzzles and taking care of her family. She was the loving mother of Roseann Femia and James P. Femia, Jr. and his wife Roseanna; cherished grandmother of Michelle Femia, Holly Femia, Maria Marble, and Erica Pineda and her husband Ronald; great-grandmother of Brendon and Tyler Calkins; and sister of the late Pasquale, Matteo, Joseph, and Luigi Virgilio. Her visitation will be held Thursday, March 16th from 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Pontarelli-Marino Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Ave, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
