Smithfield Margaret M. McArthur, 98, of Pleasant View Avenue, died Tuesday at North Bay Manor. Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, she was a daughter of the late Duncan and Catherine (Conway) McArthur. Miss McArthur was a secretary for the Davol Manufacturing Company, Cranston, for forty years before retiring. She leaves several nieces, nephews, and extended family members, and was a sister of the late Duncan McArthur, James McArthur, Elizabeth Kelly and Gertrude Quaine. Visiting hours will be held Friday morning, from 8:00 am to 9:00 am, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rt117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
