Margaret "Peggy" Cacchiotti Parrella

Born in Providence on November 5, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Angela (Cotoia) Cacchiotti; wife of Peter F. Parrella Jr. for 46 years; mother of Michael F. Parrella of North Providence, Peter F. Parrella III and wife Mary of Cranston, Richard A. Parrella and wife Renee of Johnston, Pamela A. Aciz and husband Mike of North Providence; grandmother of Ryan O'Brien, Peter F. Parrella IV, Gianna A. Parrella, Michael A. Parrella, Anthony M. Parrella, Gian A. Parrella and great-granddaughter Ryleigh; sister of Cully Campagnone, Anna Carroccia, Pauline D'Ambra, John Cacchiotti, and the late Phyllis Imondi, Ralph Cacchiotti, Gus Cacchiotti, Lawrence Cacchiotti, Joe Cacchiotti and Frank Cacchiotti Jr.; sister-in-law of Norma Graham. She also leaves several beloved nieces and nephews.

Peggy was a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School and had worked for the Apso Insurance Company as the Secretary to the Vice President before retiring. She enjoyed watching her grandkid's activities and was well known for her jokes. She also enjoyed playing cards and computer games, but most of all, she treasured her time with her family. With her fervent zest for life, Peggy will always be remembered in our laughs and smiles.

Visitation will be held Monday, 5-8 p.m. with a funeral on Tuesday at 8:15 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:15 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence, followed by burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
