Margaret Ellen "Peggy" (Shepard) Perreault, 75, of Chepachet, passed away on Friday at her home after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Paul P. Perreault, Sr., they were married for 52 years.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Agnes (Fox) Shepard.
Peggy worked as a Ward Secretary for Saint Joseph Hospital for many years before her retirement.
In addition to her husband Paul, she leaves a son, Paul P. Perreault, Jr. and his wife Kimberly, and two grandsons, Brendan and Corey Perreault. She was the sister of the late Gerard Shepard, Martin J. "Spiderman" Shepard, and James J. Shepard.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, at 8:30 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Eugene Church, 1247 Putnam Pike, Chepachet. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
Visiting hours Tuesday evening 4:00 - 7:00 pm.
