Margaret M. Tully

ProvidenceTully, Margaret M, 87, a Licensed Practical Nurse, died Monday at Golden Crest Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late James P. Tully. Born in Harrisville, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary (Corrigan) McGuinness. Mrs. Tully was a nurse at the Waterman Heights Nursing Center, Greenville, for ten years, retiring in 1985. Margaret was also one of the first, and longest serving volunteers, at the Elmhurst Extended Care Facility, Providence. She was a communicant of Saint Pius V Church for more than sixty years, a member of the North Providence Senior Citizens Center, and the Mount Pleasant Senior Citizens Association. She leaves her loving daughter, Ann B. Tully, with whom she lived, and many friends and neighbors. She was the sister of the late Anna McGuinness and Bernard E. McGuinness. The funeral and visitation will be held Friday, from 8:30 am to 9:15 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Pius V Church, Eaton Street, Providence. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. In lieu of flowers, donations to Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island, 169 George Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860 in her memory will be appreciated.
