Marie Ann Calise

NORTH PROVIDENCE - CALISE, Marie A., 67, of Tiffany Street, died Thursday at Roger Williams Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of Gilbert Calise. They had been married for 50 years. Born in Providence, a daughter of Doris (Farrell) Olivo of North Providence, and the late Pasquale Olivo, she lived in North Providence for the past 45 years. Mrs. Calise worked at the A.T. Cross Company for 17 years before she retired in 1994. She was a communicant of St. Anthony Church. Besides her husband and mother she leaves her children Joseph G. Calise and his wife Janice, Robert A. Calise and his wife Darlene, Anthony W. Calise, Johnny P. Calise and his wife Nikki, Jodi A. Calise, and Debra M. Calise all of North Providence; a brother Kenneth Olivo of North Providence; her sisters Dolores Travers of North Providence, Patricia Calise and Joanne DeMedeiros both of Johnston, and Marion Falco of Cranston, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was the great grandmother of the late Donte Perron. Her funeral will be Monday at 9:45am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 2-6pm.
