Mario H. Gonzalez

Born in Colombia, South America. He was the son of the late Libardo and Ligia (Caro) Gonzalez.

Mario owned and operated Coristine Locksmith in Newport, Rhode Island for many years.

He was the father of Juan Carlos Gonzalez, Mario H Gonzalez, Gregory Gonzalez, Mauricio Gonzalez, Alan Rivera, David Rivera, Cheryl Ann Whipple, Marilyn Gallucci, Lisa Gonzalez, and Valerie Giblin.

Grandfather of 44 grandchildren and 48 great grandchildren.

Brother of Jorge Alberto, Arturo, Cruz Estella and Fulbio Gonzalez-Caro and uncle of many nephews, nieces and cousins.

Mario Gonzalez was preceded in death by his son, Steven K Rivera, and his siblings, Leslie de Jesus Gonzalez-Caro, Gloria Ines Gonzalez- Caro, Gustavo Gonzalez- Caro, Fany Gonzalez-Caro and Fabio Gonzalez- Caro.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 3, 2025 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence.

Funeral will be held Friday, April 4, 2025 at 9:00 AM from the funeral home followed by a service in the funeral home at 10:00 AM.

Burial to follow in North Burial Ground Cemetery, Providence.
