Maritza Garofalo

Born in Panama, she was the daughter of the late Abel and Ampado Serracin.

Maritza was a shining light to anyone who knew her. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her two daughters, Rina Palumbo and her partner Steven Palumbo and Keri-Ann Caldwell and her husband Jason Caldwell; her five grandchildren Justin Vani and his wife Emily, Kyle McLoughlin, Tyle Palumbo, Kyle Caldwell and Mae Caldwell and her three great grandchildren Ozzie Vani, Roux Vani and Ella Palumbo.

Her visitation and funeral will be held Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM in the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a service in the funeral home at 11:30 AM. Burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
