She was the devoted wife of the late Stephen E. Emidy, Jr., and they were married for 53 years. Mary Lou is survived by two daughters and five grandchildren.
Mary Lou was a devout Catholic, loved animals, reading, and doing word searches. She also loved caring for her grandchildren. She enjoyed a warm cup of tea every morning, and a beer at night. She was a true extrovert and a kind soul. Mary Lou was always smiling, and made friends everywhere she went. There was never a quick trip to the supermarket, as Mary Lou would stop to chat with strangers. She loved having her nails painted, and her hair done. She had a great sense of humor and sharp wit. She will be dearly missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Services are private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's name should be sent to Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center who provided such compassionate care to her and her family in their time of need.
