Mary was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (McMahon) Langhorn. She was raised in Providence and graduated from St. Xavier Academy and Salve Regina University. She earned graduate degrees from URI and from Emerson College in Boston.
Mary taught at Cumberland High School for ten years and was later a speech and language pathologist at Meeting Street School and Sargent Rehabilitation Center. She was a lifelong member of St. Pius Parish in Providence and was also active in a Secular Franciscan Fraternity.
She is survived by her sister Joan Power of Falmouth, her niece Christine Power of Boston, and her dear friend Judith Pelchot of West Greenwich.
Visiting hours will be on November 17, 2025 from 8:00-9:00 a.m. at Russell Boyle Funeral Home, 331 Smith St, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Pius Church, Providence.
