Providence Mary M. McElroy, 84, formerly of Kentland Avenue, died peacefully Wednesday morning at Hopkins Manor. She was the wife of the late Robert B. McElroy, (PFD). Born in County Cavan, Ireland, she was a daughter of the late Gerald and Mary (Brady) Leathem. Mrs. McElroy was a communicant of Saint Augustine Church, and a former communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church. She leaves two sons, Robert B. McElroy, (Ret PFD) and his wife Elizabeth, Brian J. McElroy and his wife Cheryl; a daughter, Marie A. Mills; five brothers, Eugene, Patrick, Aiden, Gerald and Seamus Leathem; five sisters, Phyllis Holloway, Kathleen McKenna, Susan O'Connor, Alice O'Reilly and Bridget Leathem; and five loving grandchildren.
