She was a graduate of Emmanuel College in Boston and went on to teach Enlgish at Classical High School in Providence for over 38 years. She recieved many awards and accolades during her teaching career and was loved and admired by the many generations of students whose lives she touched.
Mary Ann is survived by her sister Barbara J. Niedz of Providence and her brother John G. Niedzwicki, MD, PhD of Dartmouth, MA, her aunt Margie LaGrant of Warwick and numerous cousins.
Funeral arrangements were private. A memorial mass will be offered for Mary Ann at a future date.
