

Born in Hartford, CT, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Sadie (Keough) Hopper.
Mary was a graduate of Classical High School, she was an avid traveler, a voracious reader, and was kind and generous to her family and many friends. She enjoyed crossword puzzles to promote a healthy brain, and supported all of the New England sports teams, especially the Boston Bruins. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
The Pracht family would like to thank the entire staff at Brentwood Nursing Home for their kindness and care of their beloved Mary.
She leaves a son, John W. Pracht and his wife Hilda, a daughter, Barbara M. Pracht, three grandchildren, Garrett Pracht and his wife Sara, Susan Pracht, and Nathan Pracht and his wife Rebecca, and three great grandchildren, Jordan, Seth, and Jack Pracht. She was the sister of the late James Hopper Sr., and Thomas Hopper.
Her funeral will begin at 7:45 am on Saturday, October 19, 2019 from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rt. 117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in Saint Clement Church, 111 Long Street, Warwick. Burial will follow in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
