

He was the beloved son of the late George H. and Rita M. (Vivier) Broderick. He is survived by his loving sister, Marita Broderick, and his cousin, Joan Craddy.
Michael proudly served his country as a United States Army veteran. Following his military service, he devoted his life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Michael truly loved his work and took great pride in helping his patients. He was deeply respected and appreciated by both his patients and his colleagues for his dedication, compassion, and quiet professionalism.
Michael was known for his kind, quiet, and helpful nature. He offered support without hesitation and touched the lives of many through simple acts of care and genuine kindness.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 4:00-7:00 pm with his funeral on Friday at 9:00 am in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Avenue, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Augustine Church, 20 Old Road, Providence, RI 02908.
