He was the son of the late Julio and Rosa (Capricotta) Forte; husband of the late Rose (Palmisciano) Forte; father of Robert M. forte and his wife Joan, and George J. Forte and his wife Sharon of North Carolina; grandfather of 7; great-grandfather of 11; brother of the late Joseph and William Forte, Mary D’Maria and Julia Andreozzi.
Mr. Forte had been a supervisor for Young Mattress Co. before retiring and was a communicant of St. Ann Church in Providence.
Visiting hours are omitted. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in St. Ann Church, 280 Hawkins Street, Providence, followed by burial in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
