Michael J. Maresca

Michael served in the Army during Vietnam receiving multiple service awards and a Bronze Star for Valor. He continued his public service as a mail carrier in Barrington for the US Postal Service until retirement. Michael had a zeal for life, he was an avid fisherman, loved traveling and spending time with the ones he loved. Michael’s smile and enthusiasm for life was infectious. He loved his family and friends fully and wholeheartedly. He was known by many names, his most cherished one being “Papa”.

Michael is survived by his partner, Gretchen Klehm; his daughter, Traci Cady and husband Erik; son Michael Maresca; his grandchildren, Evan, Sarah, Viola, and Eleanor; his brother, Robert Maresca and wife Elizabeth; niece Andrea Maresca-Kohr and nephew Nicholas Maresca.

Military Honors and burial of Ashes will be held on July 26 at 10 AM at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter, RI. Family and friends are invited to attend.
