He was the beloved husband of Karen G. (Morris) Mollica for 36 years; son of the late Salvatore and Ada (Lembo) Mollica; son-in-law of Lillian E. (Barone) Morris and the late Phil A. Morris
Michael worked as a parts department clerk for various Chevrolet dealerships in Rhode Island before his retirement in 2008. He was a 1965 graduate of Mount Pleasant High School, graduating with honors. Michael was an avid bowler in the 1960s and 1970s winning numerous tournaments. He also loved working in his yard and tinkering with his cars.
Besides his wife, he was the brother-in-law to Patti Sokol and David Morris. He was the proud uncle to his nieces Elizabeth Sokol and Samantha Keeney. Michael also leaves behind 2 great-nieces and a great-nephew.
Visitation and funeral services will be held Thursday, 10-11 a.m. with a service at 11 a.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Please omit flowers.
