PawtucketMichael F. Stone, Jr., 32, of Manton Street, died Thursday, December 28, 2017, at home. He was the fiancAC. of Valerie Papa. Born in Providence, a son of Michael F. Stone, Sr. and Olive D. (Grenier) Thurber, he grew up in the Smith Hill neighborhood of Proviodence.Mike was a self-employed roofer and carpenter for many years.He also leaves two children, Michael F. Stone, III and Angelo Della Posta, four sisters, Michele Stone, Jessica Grenier, Amanda Grenier and Sharon Stone, and fourteen beloved nieces and nephews.The visitation and funeral service will be held Saturday, January 6th, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence, to which relatives and friends are invited. The service will begin at 6:30 pm.
