Born in North Providence, he was the beloved son of Barbara Thomas and Ronald Ratchford.
Michael was one of the kindest, most caring humans. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, always had a smile on his face & ready to crack joke with a laugh so contagious! He loved to DJ & fish on his free time. He will live on through those he loved & those that loved him.
He was the brother of Tiesha Brooks, Tia Hopper, Heather Coogan, Carina Barros, Monique Rocha, Crystal Thomas, Breanna Wilson, Brittany Gomes, Kayla Figueroa, Briana Ratchford and the late Ronnie Brooks; grandson of the late Robert E. Coogan and Ann Delaine Coogan, and grandson of Audrey; Godson of Marie Warren and Wayne Gonsalves; nephew of Brian G. Coogan, Robert E. Coogan Jr. and the late William J. Coogan. He also leaves behind many cousins and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral services and burial will be private.
