Miguel Oliveira

Miguel Oliveira, 46, of Candace Street, died peacefully Sunday, December 6, 2015, at Roger Williams Medical Center.Born in Providence, a son of Clementina (Andrade) Oliveira, and the late Joao DeOliveira, he lived in Smith Hill most of his life.Miguel was a self-employed construction worker and landscaper for many years, and was well known and respected in the Smith Hill community by his many friends and extended family members.Besides his mother, he leaves a son, Miguel Vasconcellos; two daughters, Bianca DeSouza and Sheana Oliveira; two brothers, Joao Oliveira and Thomas Oliveira; six sisters, Maria Rego, Laudalina Ganhadeiro, Colleen Ferreira, Lucy Ganhadeiro, Sandy Oliveira, and Stephanie Maldonado; and a granddaughter, Lilliana DeSouza.The funeral will be held Thursday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Patrick Church, 244 Smith Street, Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Visiting hours Wednesday, 4:00 - 8:00 pm.
