Nancy L. Guadagni

Nancy L. (DeCristoforo) Guadagni, 93, passed away at home on August 27, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of the late Carmine and Jennie (Simonelli) DeCristoforo and beloved wife of the late Maurice C. Guadagni.

Loving mother of RoseLee G. Rodrigues and her husband Anthony J. Rodrigues and cherished grandmother of Nancy Lee Giordano and Anthony C. Rodrigues Sr. and his wife Sarah R., and great-grandmother of Anthony C. Jr., Talia Rose and Rocco R. Rodrigues. Sister of Anthony DeCristoforo and the late Mary Coleman, Palma Carlucci, Carolina Vincent, Ann Marie Souza, Angela M. DeCristoforo, Carmine DeCristoforo and Joseph DeCristoforo.

My mom passed away at home Saturday night surrounded by her loving and dedicated family. Thank you God for the peaceful passage from our home to yours. My mom worked alongside my dad in the Guadagni family bakery for many years. She is now with my dad, whom she lost many years ago, but has always been the one love of her life. Being known as “Grandma downstairs” to her 2 wonderful grandchildren and “Nonna” to her 3 beautiful great grandchildren, and a son in law truly like her own son, has always been the highlight of her life. She so enjoyed her weekly prayer for the Novena of St. Jude with her sister, Baby. Always ready with a smile to serve her delicious Italian meals, she looked forward to her phone calls, visits and cards from her niece Jennie Lynn Angel and Christopher Rooney and family. She made quite a statement with her glamorous white glasses and danced up a storm with her partner Gil Dias. She truly was the epitome of Live, Laugh, and Love.

Mom, you always said, “It’s you and me, me and you, forever.” Thank you for a love like no other. I love you mom and I miss you already! –Rowe xo

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00-7:00 in the PONTARELLI-MARINO HOME, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Funeral services and burial will be private.
