Nancy E. Lester

East Providence: Lester, Nancy E. (Tracy), 75, passed away on October 3, 2011, at the Hattie Ide Chaffee Home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Richard E. "Dick" Lester. Born in Attleboro, she was the daughter of the late Edward L. and Elizabeth A.(Brennan) Tracy. She resided in East Providence for the last 48 years. Nancy was a bookkeeper at the John W. Kennedy Company for 29 years, previously working at New England Tel & Tel for 10 years. She was a graduate of East Providence High School in 1953. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church. She is survived by her 4 devoted daughters, Tracy A. Lester, Kathleen A. Lester and Susan A. Greaves and her husband Scott all of East Providence and Patricia A Tapper and her husband Frank of Fairhaven, MA, 6 cherished grandchildren, Heather, Jamie and Ellen Tapper, Eric and Danielle Greaves and Alexandra Wilson. She was the sister of the late Edward L. "Ted" Tracy. The funeral will be held on Friday at 8:30 am from the Perry McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Ave, East Providence. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am in Sacred Heart Church, 100 Taunton Ave, East Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Visiting hours, Thursday, 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Tommorrow Fund at Hasbro Childrens Hospital, 583 Eddy St., Providence, RI 02903, in her memory would be appreciated.
