Nancy C. Noonan

South Kingstown: Noonan, Nancy C. (Mills), 77, of Quiet Way, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2013 at South County Hospital. She was the belovedwife of the late James D. Noonan III, PFD.Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy (Cornell) Mills.Nancy was a nursing assistant at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence and Golden Crest Nursing Centre in North Providence for 25 years.She was a seasonal resident at Roy Carpenter's Beach in Mutunuck, RI.She is survived by her children, James R. Noonan and his wife Patricia of South Kingstown, Jane F. Doorley and her husband Joseph of South Kingstownand Robert A. Noonan and his wife Theresa of Providence; 3 grandchildren, Kelli Doorley, Jaime Welch and James Mazzeo and 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Parker, John and Robert Mills and Katherine "Kitty" Hayward and sister in law of the late Louise Sicard.Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 8:45 am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith St., Providence. Committal Prayerswill be held at 10:00 am in Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, East Providence. Visiting hours, will be held on Monday 4-7 pm.In lieu of flowers, donations to Home & Hospice, Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 in her memory would be appreciated.
