Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Nicola and Vincenza (Lollio) Barone.
He was the father of Nick, Ginny, Donna, Christine, Ricky, Kevin, Tina, Lee, Robert, Nicky, Wendy and the late Ricky and Steven; brother of Dorothy Norton, Richard and the late Robert, Raymond and Dennis Barone; grandfather of 45 and great grandfather of 27. He was also the special friend of Caldone Davies.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:45 am from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Patrick Church, 244 Smith Street, Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery. VISITATION MONDAY 5-8 PM.
